Kathleen and Warren had a beautiful wedding up in Estes Park. Their ceremony was at St Bart’s Church and the reception was the Historic Stanley Hotel. It was a good day to have an inside ceremony :) It showered throughout the day but we dashed outside during the reception for some cool photos.

It’s always nice to work with great vendors! Angie and her staff at the Stanley Hotel were awesome and I had the pleasure of working with Jay at Standing Room Only for the second week in a row. He is one of best! And Colorado Rose Cake Company did their usual stellar job.

July 29, 2009

From our initial consult, through their engagement session, to their wedding, Marian and Robert have been fantastic to work with! They’re just a great couple and I look forward to our continued friendship.

Their were married at the stunning Arrowhead Golf Club and Lindsey and her staff at Arrowhead did a great job! One of my favorite places to work. : ) And one of the best DJ’s in Colorado, Jay at Standing Room Only, was fantastic!

Cyncie & Chuck, 7.5.09

July 29, 2009

I’ve been friends with Cyncie and Chuck for years so it was awesome to photograph their wedding at Wild Basin Lodge in Estes Park! Cyncie’s smile never left her face the entire day : ) And the way they brought their children into the ceremony was beautiful.

A big shout out to Denice and Nils and their staff at Wild Basin Lodge for taking such good care of my friends!

The 4th was the perfect day for Cathy and Brian’s wedding since it’s Cathy’s favorite holiday! And the fireworks in Breckenridge were the perfect accent for their reception. After the sun set, all the guests grabbed sparklers and headed outside to watch the fireworks.

They were both awesome to work with!

Safari

July 16, 2009

I went on an amazing safari in Serengetti, Ngorongoro Crater and Lake Mynara in Tanzania. It was a great way to chill and unwind after an intense week of shooting for the Compassion Road project. Our guide, Salim, was amazing. He customized the safari for us and he always seemed to know where the animals would be at. His email is mgongasamweli@yahoo.com He’s a great guy and his prices were very reasonable.

The tough part of safari for me was being in this incredible wilderness and being confined to a lodge and a vehicle the entire time. Too many things there that can kill and eat you :)
