We are a father / daughter team. Meghan is a talented 21 year-old artist and I’m a somewhat older :) wedding photojournalist. I’ve been photographing weddings for seven years, and Meghan’s been shooting with me for the past four years. Meghan’s responsibility at her first wedding was to carry the camera bag but she started shooting for fun that day and when I saw her photos after the wedding I was blown away! She had some amazing shots! After that wedding I was back to carrying my own camera bag and Meghan was hired as a photographer (and given a sweet raise!) and we’ve been shooting together ever since.

Lisa & Scot, 8.15.10

August 19, 2010

Awesome couple, killer venue, and beautiful weather – a perfect day! I had a blast shooting Lisa and Scot’s engagement session in Dallas last spring, and we’ve become friends so I was really looking forward to their wedding at the Stanley Hotel in Estes Park. They had a beautiful ceremony in the Rose Garden and their reception was in the Music Room – our favorite reception location at the Stanley Hotel. Scot singing to Lisa during the reception had most of the guests tearing up, and the toasts kept the tears flowing…great day to be a wedding photographer. Congratulations, Lisa and Scot!

It’s always nice to work with great vendors – Angie and Candace and their staff at The Stanley Hotel did a great job, Brigitte at Floral Design of Europe did her usual stellar work, and Jamie at Estes Park Wedding and Event Planners coordinated a smooth day.

I loved Scot's reaction when he saw Lisa in her wedding dress for the first time.

Scot's a fireman in Dallas so the red fire hydrant was too cool to pass up!

Scot singing to Lisa...beautiful.

Jessica & Nathan, 8.7.10

August 18, 2010

Jessica and Nathan had a beautiful wedding at the Historic Craggs Lodge in Estes Park. They wanted a totally photojournalistic approach – no posed photos except a couple shots of the families – loved shooting it for them!

flower girl on a mission.

I loved their reaction to the flower girl.

I loved this photo of Nathan right before Jessica walked down the aisle.

They're belting out a tune from Nathan's band from back in the day!

Tracy & Robin, 7.31.10

August 10, 2010

After shooting Tracy and Robin’s engagement session in Seattle this Spring, I knew their wedding would be awesome! They are just an incredibly nice couple and their families were great to work with, too!

Their ceremony was at All Saints Lutheran and the reception was at the Brown Palace Hotel. The Brown Palace is a beautiful, iconic Denver hotel with a stunning interior and awesome service.

Congratulations, Tracy & Robin!

The lobby of the Brown Palace is stunning.

I loved their expressions during the toasts.

Megan & Steven, 7.23.10

August 1, 2010

Awesome couple, cool families, one of my favorite venues…great day to be a wedding photographer! Megan and Steven are into cycling so when they mentioned getting a tandem bike for their recessional I was excited about the picture possibilities. Congratulations, Megan and Steven!!

Wild Basin Lodge is one of our favorite places to shoot!

Marci at Colorado Rose Cake Company is the master!

This shot that Meghan took is one of my favs of the wedding.

Katie

July 27, 2010

I met the most amazing young lady yesterday! Katie is going to be a senior next year so I shot her senior pics at Cheeseman Park. She had just gotten back from her most recent solo trip to China so no surprise she was up for jumping in the fountain for some pics! I had a blast hanging out with her and her mom.
